Our Saviour’s Atonement Lutheran Church, located in Northern Manhattan, is a faith community seeking to express God’s love in our lives and in our community.
Our congregation is composed of people from many different backgrounds. We are a place where doubts and questions are dealt with openly. We seek for everyone a faith that is based on honest minds and genuine hearts.
Our doors are open to all of God's children, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, whether you believe in Jesus or are just searching, learning, yearning, or looking for a community. We gather together on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. to give praise and thanks to God, and hear the Good News of Christ, and prepare ourselves to go serve others and share God’s love.
We are a “Reconciling in Christ” congregation, which actively welcomes and supports participation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.
We want to be a church that is known and valued by our neighbors. For more than three decades, the Cornerstone Center at OSA has provided the Washington Heights community with a place to offer a variety of spiritual, artistic, educational, and recreational activities and programs, with almost 200 events happening in the building each month.
We are committed to meet the needs of the others inside and outside our walls. We want to God's love through Christ with people as far away as Argentina and Tanzania, and as close by as our own neighborhoods.
Faith is alive and well at OSA, and we invite you to be apart of the journey!
