Everything we have is a gift from God, entrusted to us to use and manage. Giving is our response to God’s generosity. A gift to OSA supports our ministry plan, which is everything we do to be a visible and real presence of God in our community.
There are multiple ways to give at OSA. Find one that's right for you...
Giving Online To make an online donation on a one-time or recurring basis by Electronic Funds Transfer, or with a credit or debit card, please click (you will be redirected to a secure giving page):
Setting up your gift online, using an Electronic Funds Transfer from a bank account or a credit/debit card, is the safest and most effective way to give. There are several benefits to online giving for both you and our church.
Faithfully Honoring God - When you sign up to give online you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. The Bible teaches that we can honor God with the “First Fruits” of our labor (Proverbs 3:9). By setting up a recurring contribution, you ensure that your First Fruits are faithfully given back to God.
Simplicity - Leave the checkbook at home. You won’t have to remember to send in an offering by mail when you’re on a trip or recall if you gave this month.
Security – An electronic gift can’t be lost or stolen which makes online giving more secure than giving with a check or cash. We utilize an encrypted secure website for your online records. And you can access a personal, password protected record of your giving 24 hours a day
Helping OSA – Online giving is faster for our church to process, and it makes record keeping much easier.
Giving by credit/debit card and Electronic Funds Transfer can also be arranged by completing an automated giving authorization form, and mailing or faxing to the OSA office. Complete instructions can be found in the download.
Online Giving Privacy Policies Your information is held securely by the Vanco Services. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions. You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled. If you have any problems or questions related to this, please contact us at osanyc[at]verizon.net.
A Word About Credit Cards While we allow the use of credit cards for donations, we still strongly encourage Electronic Funds Transfer rather than credit card for two primary reasons:
We offer the opportunity to donate by credit card as a convenience, but do not want someone to go into debt and pay interest on gifts given to the church. Although many pay off their credit cards each month, many also do not.
When using a credit card (or debit card), as much as 4% of your gift can go to the credit card company as a processing fee. With electronic transfer, the bank does not charge a processing fee.
Other Ways to Give 1. Give on Sunday at the service You can give each Sunday at OSA by putting your donation in an offering envelope and dropping the envelope in the plate as it is passed.
2. Give by mailing your gift to the OSA office During the week you can give by mailing your gift to the OSA office (address below). You can also utilize your bank’s bill pay option to have a check cut automatically on the day you specify.
