A few weeks ago Pastor Barrie mentioned during his sermon that the Gospel of Matthew could be read in an hour, and the four books of the Gospels consumed within a week. To kick-off our Stewardship campaign, I proposed a Bible reading challenge based on this idea, in which the OSA community commits to read the Gospels over the next 30 days.
To take the challenge, simply reply to this email. We have two options to assist you.
Group A will receive an email each day with the chapters for the daily reading. If this is the option for you, reply to this email with the message “Group A”.
Group B is for those who would like to receive the full text of the daily reading in their email (no need to dig out your Bible). If this is the option for you, reply to this email with the message “Group B”.
As you’re reading, I encourage you to keep track of the verses in which Jesus talks about money and possessions, and keep this in mind as you consider a financial pledge for the coming year. Share your insights and encourage others to complete the challenge.
