Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. (I Corinthians 10:31) I urge you, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. (Romans 12:1)
Being healthy and keeping fit - challenging goals! How do we go about it?
Physically - getting enough exercise and sleep, the right foods, a balance of work and 'play' ?
Mentally - keeping positive and hopeful, continuing to learn, finding strategies to deal with frustrations and stresses, encouraging others?
Spiritually - making time for daily worship, thanksgiving and expectant prayer, intentional dependence on God, trusting in God's care for every aspect of my life?
Holy Lord, as You gave your life for me, help me to respond to your love with practical steps in my daily living. Amen.
