In this week’s blurb, there are just a few things that I want to highlight for this weekend:
First, Saturday has two important events.
1. Accompaniment training, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. We will provide the bagels and coffee. The New Sanctuary Movement will provide the training for people who are interested in accompanying those people who are detained and on trial. RSVP, please!
2. Pie and Trivia Night: 7:30 p.m. BYOB, but come for a slice of pie and some trivia! Every penny goes to our rapidly ending capital campaign. Delicious pies, fun times—come and join us!
Finally, a word about Sunday. This is the Sunday of the year that we do James Noyes’ Equinox Liturgy. It’s a soulful liturgy that draws our attention to the unity we share in Christ. This year, we have an incredible amount of musicians that will be playing all kinds of instruments, from the hammered dulcimer to the vibraphone. If you’ve never experienced this worship, it’s something very different liturgy than what you’re used to. Same time as usual! We’ll see you then.
