Lent has come—and on Valentine’s Day no less. This is your reminder to join us tonight at 7:30 for Ash Wednesday, when we receive ashes as a sign of God’s love.
Why is a cross a sign of love? Why is repentance love? Where’s the wine and the chocolate? Come and find out. And, in case you are looking for a date, Ash Wednesday service is a great one.
Even though I’m still recovering, I’m planning on preaching tonight. Tom Crossman and I will be sharing liturgical duties for at least the next few weeks. But come not just for sermons, but for the sacrament, for the music, for the prayer, and for the community, shaped by the Holy Spirit, which calls us out of darkness into God’s own marvelous light.
