Today: Ash Wednesday service with imposition of ashes at 7:30PM.

Sunday school
10AM in the Lorenz Library.

Lenten Study: A series of studies on “The Major Characters of the New Testament.” Lead by Pastor Barrie and Min. Jacob using videos from The History Channel and various writings available to us.

Starts at 6:45PM with soup and bread. 7:15PM Discussion and viewing of DVD. 8:15PM Short Vespers service.

The study schedule is:
March 1st – Paul (before and after his encounter with Jesus.)
March 8th – Peter (The Hot-Head)
March 15th – James (Controversial to Martin Luther)
March 22nd – Mary (What do we know of her?)
March 29th – Judas (Enemy or…?)

Membership Preparation
Anyone wishing to consider becoming a member of the congregation should talk to Pastors Barrie or Jacob.

Attendance at the Lenten series and one-on-ones are a way of being sure that you appreciate what it means to become a full member of O.S.A.

The reception service will be either an Easter vigil on the evening of April 7th or at the 11AM Easter morning service.

April 5th at 7PM Maundy Thursday service.
April 6th at 7PM Good Friday meditation.
April 7th Easter Vigil at 8PM.
April 8th at 11AM Easter Sunday service followed by an Easter egg hunt!
